| Casey Co Fiscal Court Meeting Mon 2-6-12 Regular Meeting, visitor was Russell Overstreet concerning a tree on Bowman Trail in the ditchline. Approval of minutes, as well as budget transfers, and Nunc Pro Tunc 2 checks and 1st reading of budget ammend budget Amendment. Voted to give county employees a 2% raise retro to the 1st of the year. Judge Wright announced that he checked into recent allegations of Animal Shelter abuse in Taylor Co, had been dismissed by state officials. Casey County has sent animal there in the past. |
| Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Benefit About 250 came to the Ag center on Sat 2-4-12 for a singing, and dinner. $2,000.00 was raised to help the church due to recent vandalism. The Coppage Family and the Heavenbound Singers sang for the crowd. A time of fellowship, and rejoicing was felt by all that were there. The Church had insurance, but the local singers wanted to help by having the singing. |
